K-12 Special Education Teacher
About The Position
Cross Country Education is seeking Special Education Teachers to support diverse K–12 learning environments in Maricopa, AZ, during the 2026–2027 school year. This role involves adapting and delivering specialized instruction across K–12 settings, including elementary self-contained programs and high school resource/co-taught environments. The teacher will manage student caseloads by developing, implementing, and monitoring progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to diverse learning needs. Additionally, the role requires using data-driven assessments to monitor student progress and implementing effective behavioral intervention strategies that support student success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
- Active CPR and First Aid Certification
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

- Master’s degree preferred
