About The Position
MIYO Health is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in a full-time, in-person role at an Elementary School in Bradford County, Florida. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Florida Department of Education Special Education teaching certification required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Passion for helping students reach their full potential
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with elementary-aged students with diverse learning needs preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction aligned with each student's IEP
- Develop engaging lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs
- Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with families, related service providers, and school staff
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
