We are now offering a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for a certified Special Education Teacher! Requirements
- Bachelor’s level degree in Special Education required.
- PA certification in Special Education is required.
- Prior experience working with students with behavioral health challenges within a school setting preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Content area certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- provides academic and functional instruction to students diagnosed with Autism or Pervasive Developmental Disorder in a school setting
- monitors student academic and functional achievement through data collection, observation, and other quantitative methods
- observes and records student progress daily
- develops and monitors student’s IEP, reports, goals, objectives, attend IEP meetings, establish, maintain, and work toward student goals as outlined in the IEP
- manages student behavior through individualized motivational systems, S.M.A.R.T. Program and positive behavior support plans
