About The Position

Empowerment Academy Charter School is seeking Special Education Teachers to join our growing High School. This role will utilize a push-in/pull-out model. We are looking for certified teachers in High School Mathematics, ELA/English, and Science, Special Education. Special Education Certified teachers are eligible for a $3,000 bonus, and Certified Math teachers are eligible for a $7,500 bonus. The base salary for the 26/27 school year is $70,000 - $100,000, with additional opportunities for bonuses, stipends, and raises.

Requirements

• Hold a New Jersey Department of Education CE, Limited CE, CEAS or Standard Certificate in Special Education.
• TOH or TOSD Certification required.
• Co-certification should be in the subject being taught, but K-6 certificates paired with TOSD may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach Special Education students in a push-in/pull-out model.
• Collaborate with peers in professional learning communities (PLCs) to plan lessons and solve problems.
• Partner with an array of specialists to meet scholars’ diverse needs.
