About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking compassionate Special Education Teachers to join a supportive school team serving students with diverse learning needs in Easton, Maryland for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves providing academic and behavioral support primarily within the general education setting for elementary and high school students. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and monitoring IEP goals, accommodations, and classroom strategies for a caseload of 10-15 students. Instruction will be delivered individually and in small groups to students with diverse needs, including Other Health Impairment (OHI), Learning Disabilities, and Autism. Collaboration with general education teachers, families, and school staff is essential to ensure student progress and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid Maryland State Teaching License with an endorsement in Special Education
