About The Position
The State College Area School District is currently seeking energetic, collaborative, child-centered individuals for Interventionist Paraprofessional positions for the Special Education Department. These are district-wide positions with an initial assignment that will be discussed during the interview. All applicants must meet Highly Qualified (HQ) status. SCASD will support applicants with obtaining their HQ status. Requirements
- Meet Highly Qualified (HQ) status by meeting one of the following criteria: A) Have obtained at least 2 years post-secondary education - requires at least 48 semester credit hours documented by official college/university transcripts; B) Possess an associates degree, or higher, documented by official college/university transcripts; C) Meet a rigorous standard of quality as demonstrated through a State or local assessment.
