About The Position

Parkland School District is seeking a motivated and supportive Special Education Teacher Substitute for a Life Skills classroom at Parkland High School. This is a short-term assignment from January 2027 through April 2027.

Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification.

• Experience planning and implementing specialized programming for student needs.
• Experience with the evaluation and reevaluation process.
• Experience with whole-group and individual Positive Behavior Support.
• Ability to organize ongoing data collection and paraeducator support staff.
• Experience collaborating and planning with general education staff to support meaningful inclusion.
• Experience collaborating with parents.
