About The Position
EDU-AIDs is seeking dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher - 3rd/4th Grade (Math) to support students in Bensalem, Bensalem Township, PA for the 2026–2027 school year. We have full-time opportunities available with elementary grade levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification (PK-8, PK-12, or appropriate grade-level certification)
- Minimum one year of experience in a Special Education classroom.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, classroom management, and progress monitoring.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized math instruction to 3rd and 4th grade students with IEPs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Adapt math curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and student success.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Use evidence-based interventions to improve math skills and academic achievement.
- Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary team members.
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
