About The Position

North Marion Intermediate School is seeking a Temporary Special Education Teacher / Case Manager for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year to create a vibrant learning community for students. This position plays a key role in supporting students with special needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with an endorsement in Special Education
• Valid Oregon Teaching License with applicable Special Education endorsements and authorization level(s)
• Must meet all other TSPC license requirements, including Background and Criminal History Clearance
• Ability to maintain strength of knowledge and practice in instructional skills and strategies
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of subject matter, to seek professional growth, improve classroom instruction, and to qualify for license renewal by following both state and district regulations

Responsibilities

• Support the identification of students in need of Special Education Services
• Identify individual learning needs and provide targeted instruction to support student growth and learning.
• Writing and implementation of Individual Education Programs (IEP)
• Consult with and provide assistance to classroom teachers in their efforts to support students experiencing disabilities in their classroom
• Establish relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a sense of belonging and community
