Join Cross Country Education as a Special Education Teacher and provide individualized instruction and support to students during the 2026–2027 school year in Chambersburg, PA. Position Overview: Provide specialized instruction and individualized support for students in an Autistic Support classroom, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning and developmental needs. Develop and implement engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with students’ individualized education plans (IEPs), while monitoring progress toward educational goals. Collaborate with families, teachers, therapists, and other school professionals to promote academic, behavioral, communication, and social development. Maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment while documenting student progress and communicating with the educational team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field
Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification with Special Education endorsement
Emergency Certifications are not accepted

Nice To Haves

Experience working with students with autism or in a specialized education setting preferred
