About The Position
Teacher Assistant position supporting special education students with low-incidence needs at North Charleston Creative Arts Elementary School. This is a 190-day, full-time classified hourly position for the 2026–2027 school year. The listed shift is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Hourly pay is $19.04–$34.48 with a passing ParaPro/ParaPathways score or 60 hours of accredited college credit, and $19.71–$38.27 with a bachelor’s degree. Pay is based on the board-approved 2026–2027 salary schedule and verified work experience, up to 37 years. The position is open until filled.
