About The Position
Aspire Charter Academy, located in Gary, IN, opened in 2008 and serves over 650 K-8 students annually. This role offers the opportunity to connect passion with purpose. NHA provides students with specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from their disability, including resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services. The position also involves participating in professional development specific to special education curriculum and data tracking tools.
Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability such as: a resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services.
- Participate in professional development that is specific to special education curriculum, along with data tracking tools.
