About The Position

Requirements

• Completed a Bachelor's Degree
• At least 6 months working with students in any setting (classroom, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
• Feel confident managing a classroom of students
• Pass state & federal background checks (costs reimbursed after 10 assignments)
• Able to commute to North Philly, as many of our partner schools are located here
• Believe every child has a unique & powerful gift to share with the world

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a special education setting is preferred
• Include all relevant experience working with students on your resume

Responsibilities

• Substitute teaching in special education classrooms.
• Managing a classroom of students.
• Stepping in where needed, including lunch/recess supervision, hallway monitoring, tutoring, and proctoring during testing season.

• $196/day for daily positions and $216/day for long-term positions
