Operation Breakthrough strives to support and empower children, parents, and families through advocacy, referral services and emergency aid. JOB SUMMARY The Special Education Coordinator serves as a critical link between families, schools, and service providers to support children receiving special education services. This role ensures that students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSPs) are effectively communicated, understood, and implemented while advocating for student needs and empowering families to actively participate in the educational process. This unique role serves as the main point of contact for the referral process and continued collaboration with the district after services are initiated.
