About The Position

The Special Education Project Lead will manage special projects related to the LEA special education program as assigned by the Compliance Director.

Requirements

  • Project Management experience; certificate preferred
  • Research ability with output into shared tools for team access
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills that reflect an ability to encourage positive collaboration with all team members
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite

Responsibilities

  • Acts as project lead on assigned special projects
  • Receives orientation to project from identified project team members
  • Designs project based upon information received
  • Gains project approval from Compliance Director
  • Communicates needs to project team members
  • Sets timelines and benchmarks and communicates them to the team
  • Schedules and manages project meetings with team members as needed
  • Submits project development assets to Compliance Director according to project schedule
  • Makes adjustments to project as needed
