This position is for a Special Education Resource/Intervention Teacher (1.0 FTE) within the Flagstaff Unified School District #1. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and implementing an excellent learning environment to help students reach their educational potential. The district emphasizes meeting diverse student needs, ensuring high achievement, and leveraging diversity as an asset. Collaboration, a growth mindset, and innovation are key expectations. The teacher will work collaboratively with general education teachers to plan and implement instruction for students with disabilities, which may occur in a pull-out resource setting or an inclusion model. Responsibilities include monitoring student progress, writing IEPs, and scheduling/training paraprofessionals. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) may be required.
