About The Position

Lionsgate Academy is seeking a mission-driven Special Education Programs Supervisor to lead their Center Based program. The school's mission is to educate students living with Autism and other learning differences, built on a foundation of inclusion, respect, and customized learning. The ideal candidate will be a leader passionate about helping every student be seen, understood, and successful, and ready to continue the commitment to student-centered excellence.

Requirements

Current Minnesota teaching license
5 or more years working in Special Education
Experience working with students with autism and developmental cognitive (DCD) delays

Nice To Haves

BCBA certification
Experience with STAR, Attainments or other curriculum that addresses functional skills
2 years or more as a Supervisor, instructional coach/mentor or informal Leader

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight to high-needs, center-based program
Actively coach and supervise 9 licensed staff and a Paraprofessional Supervisor
Collaborate with teams to develop and deliver behavioral and academic/functional programming
Support students with significant cognitive disabilities in accessing education in the least restrictive environment
A partner and visible presence for students, staff, and families
