About The Position
Cross Country Education is seeking compassionate, dedicated Paraprofessionals in Clinton Township, Michigan. The role provides instructional and behavioral support to students in individual or small-group settings, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally in a supportive classroom environment. Paraprofessionals assist classroom teachers with lesson plans, classroom activities, and student support strategies, and help students with daily learning activities, communication, organization, and skill development while adapting to individual needs. They foster a positive, inclusive, structured learning environment that encourages student engagement and independence. The schedule is 31 hours per week during the school year.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to meet applicable state and district paraprofessional requirements.
Nice To Haves
- At least 60 college credit hours, a qualifying WorkKeys score, or a passing ETS ParaPro Assessment.
