About The Position
District 196 is hiring a Special Education Paraprofessional at Dakota Ridge School. The position is 6.75 hours per day on a 10-month calendar, with a scheduled workday of 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The effective date of employment is ASAP. Compensation is covered by the RAVE Clerical Association contract, Wage Group V. The 2026–27 contract lists hourly rates of $22.01 at Step 1, $23.36 at Step 2, and $24.69 at Step 3. Paraprofessional employees receive an additional $1.00 per hour differential under the contractual agreement. For benefit-eligible employees, benefits are available beginning on the first day of active employment.
