About The Position

This position is for a Special Education Paraprofessional at Red Wing High School, with multiple openings available. The role involves supporting students with special needs. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 6.5 hours per day, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, following the school calendar. Daily start and end times are subject to change based on student needs. The pay rate ranges from $21.08 to $22.24 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications, and in accordance with the Red Wing Education Support Personnel Association Master Agreement.

Requirements

Patient, adaptable, and possess a genuine passion for supporting students with special needs.
Highly organized, responsible, and able to follow directions.
Hold or be eligible for Highly Qualified status as defined by Minnesota state requirements (e.g., Associate's degree or higher, or successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment).
Willingness to become Highly Qualified upon hire.
