About The Position
Otsego Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to join their elementary staff at Dix Street Elementary, working in a Kindergarten Classroom. This is a 35 hours/week position. The Special Education Aide must be both physically and mentally able to work with students with special needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with youth strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Work with teachers, ancillary staff and administration toward the implementation of IEP academic, functional, and behavioral objectives
- Implement instructional plans provided by special and general education teachers, speech and language teacher and other professional staff
- Provide physical assistance to assigned students as needed.
