About The Position

Otsego Public Schools is seeking to add a Special Education Paraprofessional to its high school staff. The ideal candidate must be both physically and mentally capable of working with students with special needs. This position is crucial in supporting the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and providing assistance to students.

Requirements

• Minimum of High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with youth strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with teachers, ancillary staff, and administration toward the implementation of IEP academic, functional, and behavioral objectives.
• Implement instructional plans provided by special and general education teachers, speech and language teacher, and other professional staff.
• Provide physical assistance to assigned students as needed.
