Special Education Paraprofessional
About The Position
The Special Education Paraprofessional will work 6.75 hours per day on a 10-month calendar, from 9:05 am to 3:50 pm. The position is located at Echo Park Elementary School. The job summary and qualifications are detailed in an attached document. The role is responsible to the Building Principal. Compensation is based on the RAVE Clerical Association, Wage Group V, according to the contractual agreement for the 2026-27 contract, with Step 1 at $22.01/hour, Step 2 at $23.36/hour, and Step 3 at $24.69/hour. Employees in this classification receive a $1.00 per hour differential in addition to their base rate. Benefits are available to eligible new employees from their first day of active employment and include medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, long term disability insurance, sick-leave, state pension plan, tax-deferred retirement savings account, and flexible spending account. Some employee groups may also receive vacation, holidays, or personal leave.
