About The Position
Candidate will assist students with disabilities in an elementary special education classroom to include specialized academic support; transition to and from general ed classroom, therapy sessions, and activities; assist with functional skills such as feeding, toileting, and self-care; and monitor recess and transportation pick-up.
Requirements
- AA degree, CNA certification, or willingness to take and pass the Paraprofessional test.
Responsibilities
- Assist students with disabilities in an elementary special education classroom.
- Provide specialized academic support.
- Facilitate transitions to and from general education classrooms, therapy sessions, and activities.
- Assist with functional skills such as feeding, toileting, and self-care.
