About The Position
Fayetteville High School is seeking a committed and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students with disabilities in a Structured Learning Services environment with a 1:15 setting. The role includes assisting with academic instruction, adaptive behavior, and daily living skills. This is a 180-day contracted position, working 7.5 hours per day for a full contracted year. The position begins December 14, 2026. Pay range is 26 or 27, based on education level (not the hourly rate of pay), and step 6–12, based on experience.
Requirements
- At least 60 college credit hours or a passing score on the Paraprofessional PRAXIS exam.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow teacher direction and provide consistent support in a structured setting.
