Join Cross Country Education as a dependable and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional (Para), supporting students across early intervention and school-age special education programs in Hollister, CA, during the 2026–2027 school year. Position Overview: Provide direct support to Special Education students under the direction of the Director of Student Services, Coordinator of Student Services, Principal, Teacher, Education Specialist, and/or Full Inclusion Coach. Implement behavioral and instructional methodologies to address the needs of students demonstrating learning or behavioral challenges. Work with students with different abilities (mild to extensive needs) within the General education classroom. Support the academic and behavioral needs of students. Accommodate specific student needs through the implementation of specialized learning activities and linguistically appropriate goals and objectives. Provide instructional support and interventions during and after school in a variety of settings, including the general education classrooms and other school settings as assigned.

Requirements

  • AA and High School Diploma or GED or Pass on the ParaPro exam
  • Experience as a SPED Para
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
