Join Cross Country Education as a Special Education Teacher in Fort Worth, TX, providing targeted small-group math instruction while helping students reach their individual learning goals. Provide specialized mathematics instruction in small-group/resource settings for students in grades 6–12, adapting instruction to individual learning needs. Manage assigned special education caseload responsibilities, including service documentation, progress monitoring, and required records. Collaborate with the Special Education and general education teams to develop and implement effective instructional and support strategies. Monitor student progress and adjust instruction and interventions to promote measurable growth in mathematics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Texas Special Education Certification for grades 6+ (Middle/High School)
• Valid Texas Content Area or Generalist Certification appropriate for the grades served (6+ or K–5)

Nice To Haves

• Mathematics teaching or instructional experience strongly preferred, particularly experience providing small-group or resource support to students with disabilities
