About The Position

ESS Clinical is hiring a full-time, in-person Special Education Life Skills Teacher at Harmony School of Innovation in Euless, Texas, for the 2026–27 school year. The schedule follows school hours, typically seven-hour days. The role provides specialized instruction and individualized support to students with disabilities, helping them address academic, social, and behavioral challenges and succeed in the classroom. The teacher will work with individual students, small groups, and whole classes, with opportunities to support multiple grade levels from PreK through grade 12. ESS Clinical offers mentorship for newer professionals and support for professional growth and licensure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Special Education Teacher license or Special Education certification applicable to the state.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Nice To Haves

• School-based experience is preferred; newer professionals are also encouraged to apply, with mentorship available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals.
• Collaborate on developing and implementing intervention plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Support students’ social-emotional growth and behavior management.
• Assist with data collection and documentation for IEP compliance.
• Partner with educators, families, and support staff to support student success.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and school psychologists.
• Implement differentiated instruction and intervention strategies.
