About The Position
This role provides structured, individualized support to help students maintain and strengthen their academic, social, and behavioral skills during the summer months, while also promoting growth in key developmental areas. The position is for the Extended School Year program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Education
Responsibilities
- Organize and deliver instruction aligned with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Direct and support paraprofessionals
- Coordinate with related service providers
- Ongoing data collection and monitoring
- Provide an End of Program summary
- Report to the Special Education Coordinators and Director of Special Education
- Attend Team Meetings and assist with IEP development
- Assist with early arrivals and late pick-ups of students
- Assist with parent communication, as needed
