About The Position

Our client is seeking a Special Education High School Life Skills Teacher (Contract) in the Philadelphia Metro Area. This role is for individuals who are excited to make a profound difference in the lives of students by empowering them to succeed and achieve their dreams.

Requirements

• Valid PA Special Education Certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Experience with IEPs, life skills instruction, and transition planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs focused on functional academics and independence.
• Teach life skills (e.g., cooking, hygiene, budgeting, vocational tasks).
• Support transition planning for post-secondary goals (work, living, community).
• Manage behavior plans using individualized supports and data tracking.
• Collaborate with families and agencies to promote student success beyond school.
