About The Position

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is recruiting a Special Education Extensive Support Needs Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The position is based at the San Onofre school site in San Clemente, California. The work year follows a 183-day school-year calendar, with a schedule of 7.0 hours per day. Applicants must hold a current California Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Extensive Support Needs, Autism, and CLAD/English Learner authorizations, or equivalent credentials. Out-of-state applicants must hold a valid credential or license and obtain the appropriate California credential. Candidates currently enrolled in a credential program must provide a university letter confirming the anticipated credential type and completion date. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screening, fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI, and verification of a negative tuberculosis test or x-ray.

Requirements

Current valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Extensive Support Needs, Autism, and CLAD/English Learner authorizations, or equivalent credentials.
Out-of-state applicants must hold a valid credential or license and obtain the appropriate California credential.
Applicants without an issued credential at the time of application must submit a university letter stating the anticipated credential type and issuance date.
