This role focuses on facilitating the learning activities of exceptional children, including those with Specific Learning Challenges, Speech/Language Impairments, Intellectually Delayed, Emotional Disturbance, Other Health Impairments, Autism, Hearing Impairments, Orthopedic Impairments, Visual Impairments, and Traumatic Brain Injury. The teacher will work towards the attainment of grade-level, subject, school, and system objectives, utilizing a wide variety of instructional strategies, devices, and methods. The position involves working with small and large instructional groups and functioning effectively as a staff member of the school community. A significant aspect of this role is case management for students, which includes managing all related paperwork and intervention plans, ensuring legal compliance with IEP terms and CSE recommendations.
