About The Position

The San Diego Unified School District is seeking professionals who care deeply for students and are committed to the communities they serve. This role involves providing supervision and assistance to special education students on buses and at bus stops during their travel to and from school or special programs. The district is the second largest in California and one of the largest urban school districts in the United States.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Completion of in-service training in care of students with disabilities, transportation regulations, safety, and bus evacuation procedures during work hours or paid professional development during non-work hours.
• Related education and experience must be clearly represented in the work history and education section of the application.
