Special Education Aide for the Emotional Disability Program at Cameron Middle School for the 2026-2027 School Year. This role involves assisting students with disabilities, under the direction of a certified teacher, in a substantially separate program for students with Emotional Disabilities. The district’s therapeutic programs are designed for students with emotional and behavioral disorders who require a specialized setting with a low staff-to-student ratio and explicit instruction in areas such as anger management, conflict resolution, social skills, and self-advocacy. The program is supported by a Behavior Specialist and a Social Worker, offering wrap-around services to students and families. Many students in this program also participate in general education classrooms with staff support. A $1,500 stipend is available for paraprofessionals working in Autism classrooms, multi-disabilities classrooms, or on a changing team for a student with toileting needs.
