About The Position
Position available for the 2026-2027 School Year- 4 Day School Week. Primary purpose is to help meet the physical and instructional needs of individual students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom. This role involves assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP), including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. The Special Education Aide works under the general supervision of the principal and the immediate direction of a certified teacher.
Requirements
- Associate's degree, two years of study at an institution of higher learning, or have met formal academic assessment as required by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
- Valid Texas educational aide certificate
Responsibilities
