About The Position
This is a part-time position for a Special Education Program Assistant with a Special Education Program Assistant (SEPA) stipend. The position is for 185 days a year, working 1.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday. The hourly rate is $16.88 plus a $2.50/hr SEPA stipend. Excellent benefits are offered. More information about the SEPA stipend, which is added to positions requiring special care for a student, will be shared by building administration.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold at least ONE of the following licenses through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE): Paraprofessional License (PARA), Short Term Approval for Paraprofessionals (STA), Substitute License (SUB), Professional Educator License (PEL).
- If you do not currently hold a license with ISBE, you must determine which license you are eligible for and apply for the ISBE license.
