About The Position

The NSW Police Force (NSWPF) is seeking 18 Special Constables to join their Security Management Group, Counter Terrorism and Special Tactics Command. This role involves providing a quality protective security service to selected NSWPF and external agency sites and facilities, ensuring a safe and secure environment for personnel, property, and information. Successful applicants must possess the physical ability and fitness for the role's inherent requirements, including maintaining firearms use and Defensive and Tactical training (DEFTAC). A medical assessment for health, physical ability, and fitness is mandatory prior to an offer of employment. This recruitment may also be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles over the next 18 months.

Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen.
• Must have the physical ability and fitness to perform the inherent requirements of the role.
• Must undergo and pass a medical assessment for health, physical ability, and fitness.
• Must undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check.
• Must obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
