To provide specialized knowledge in an area related to higher education. Reports to designated supervisor. This role may coordinate or assist in the development and implementation of a program or project, and may oversee day-to-day operations of a program or project. The Special Assistant will serve as a liaison for their area of specialization, answering questions and providing advice on related issues. They will also assist in analyzing information, conducting research, and developing and preparing reports. Additionally, the role involves serving on various department, division, and University committees. There is a possibility of supervising students and/or providing functional guidance to support staff or other employees on a temporary or intermittent basis. Related duties will be performed as assigned.
