About The Position

Join a leading medical device company in Warwick, RI as a Spec 2, Graphic Labeling contractor. Play a vital part in developing, modifying, and managing product labeling and graphics for cutting-edge medical devices and pharmaceuticals. This onsite role offers a competitive pay rate of $45/hr and the opportunity to contribute to both commercialized and new product launches in a collaborative, quality-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in graphic labeling or packaging graphics for medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or regulated industries
  • Proficient with labeling and illustration software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, ArtiosCAD, or similar)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FDA, ISO, and other regulatory labeling standards
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills; ability to handle multiple deadlines
  • Experience working within document management systems and electronic desktop publishing tools
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and cross-functional teamwork

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting R&D builds and product development projects
  • Familiarity with Voice of Customer (VOC) activities and interaction with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Background in designing for global/regional regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of environmental and quality management systems

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update product labels, cartons, implant cards, patient leaflets, and inserts, ensuring compliance with medical, legal, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead and support cross-functional teams to collect, organize, and translate labeling content into effective label designs using industry-standard labeling and illustration software
  • Manage labeling projects for commercialized and new product development, prioritizing multiple deadlines independently
  • Oversee labeling changes within the document management system and maintain all packaging graphics using electronic desktop publishing tools
  • Design labeling with attention to global requirements, product identification, branding, aesthetics, print production, and sales appeal
  • Support Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and regulatory compliance (FDA, ISO, SOPs)
  • Collaborate with R&D for packaging prototypes and labeling support during builds
  • Engage in Voice of Customer (VOC) activities by working closely with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned
