Spare School Bus Driver
About The Position
SOUTHLAND Transportation is seeking dedicated Spare School Bus Drivers to join our dynamic team! Hours are flexible and are based on YOUR schedule. Earn extra income by working a few shifts per week while still leaving time to keep other commitments or do the things you enjoy! Employees enjoy fulfilling engagement and working relationships with all levels of management. Spare drivers must be comfortable with navigation as they can cover any route. A good knowledge of Medicine Hat and surrounding area is essential.
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (training provided to upgrade to a Class 2S)
- Organized, punctual, and reliable
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Working knowledge of the city and map reading skills
- Commitment to excellence in customer service
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable with navigation as they can cover any route
- Good knowledge of Medicine Hat and surrounding area is essential
Responsibilities
- Provide relief coverage when needed
- Safely transport students to and from school
- Be able and willing to drive the routes that are available
- Commitment to safety and customer service
- Possess superior oral and written communication skills
