About The Position
Interpreters provide language Interpretation for Access Community Health Centers (ACHC) patients, families, and staff. In addition, Interpreters work on written translations as needed.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI) certification
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Flexibility and ability to perform under pressure
- Fluent in Spanish
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience using medical terminology
- Previous experience serving as an interpreter in a clinic or hospital setting
Responsibilities
- Provide language interpretation for patients, families, and staff.
