About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Spanish Guide to lead a mixed-age preschool classroom for children ages 1.5–3 in a Montessori environment. The role supports children’s academic, social, emotional, and physical development through close observation, individualized lessons, intentional language, and respectful guidance. The guide prepares an orderly, accessible classroom that encourages independence, concentration, confidence, curiosity, and joy in learning. Children are supported in choosing meaningful work, repeating activities until mastery, and taking pride in their accomplishments. The classroom includes Montessori materials and child-sized furnishings, practical-life activities, hands-on curriculum materials, cozy reading spaces, real plants, and natural light. The position also involves building respectful relationships with children and families and collaborating with parents to support each child’s growth.

Requirements

• Montessori diploma for ages 0–3, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience working with children ages 1.5–3 in a group learning environment.
• Alignment with child-led philosophies such as Montessori.
• Required ECE or Child Development credits.
