About The Position

MasterWord, a language access solutions provider with over 33 years of experience, is seeking experienced Spanish <> English interpreters for freelance opportunities in Adams County, Colorado. This role allows interpreters to make a meaningful impact by assisting individuals with limited English proficiency in various settings such as healthcare, schools, courtrooms, government agencies, and businesses. The position offers flexibility in work hours and the chance to serve the local community.

Requirements

• Formal or professional interpretation experience.
• High-level fluency in both Spanish and English.
• Ability to commute for in-person assignments within the Adams County, Colorado market.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting Child Protection and Adult Protection Services.
• At least a two-year degree (or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., pharmacy tech/pharmacist, nursing home, hospital, hospice, patient tech, practicum hours as part of a nursing program, pharmaceutical rep, CNA, LVN, RN, volunteering at a hospital, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation services between Spanish and English.
• Support clients in various settings including healthcare facilities, schools, courtrooms, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and businesses.
• Assist individuals with limited English proficiency.
