Spanish Interpreters - Adams County, Colorado
About The Position
MasterWord Services, Inc. (MWS) is seeking individuals who speak both Spanish and English fluently for In Person Interpreting Assignments in Adams County, Colorado. This opportunity allows the successful candidate to make a difference in their community by helping those with limited English proficiency. Requirements
- Fluent in both Spanish and English.
- Informal or professional interpretation experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting Child Protection and Adult Protection Services.
- At least a two-year degree (or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., pharmacy tech/pharmacist, nursing home, hospital, hospice, patient tech, practicum hours as part of a nursing program, pharmaceutical rep, CNA, LVN, RN, volunteering at a hospital).
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person interpretation services between Spanish and English speakers.
- Assist individuals with limited English proficiency in their community.
