About The Position
We are seeking a professional freelance on-site Spanish interpreter for an in-person assignment in Lexington, Virginia. The interpreter will provide consecutive, in-person Spanish interpretation to support clear communication between the provider and the client/family. The assignment involves a sensitive behavioral health or counseling environment, so prior experience interpreting in mental health, therapy, crisis-response, settings is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Prior professional interpreting experience.
- Ability to remain calm, respectful, and composed during emotionally complex conversations.
- Reliable local availability for an in-person assignment in Lexington, VA.
