About The Position

At Brightmont Academy, we specialize in personalized one-to-one instruction for students in grades 1-12. Since 1999, we have helped students reach their full potential through individualized learning. With 25 campuses across 10 states, we foster a supportive, student-centered environment conducive to meaningful learning. Our teaching model allows instructors to focus on teaching one student at a time, tailoring lessons to their specific needs and learning styles. We utilize a gradual release approach to guide students toward mastery, building their confidence and academic success. Instructors are not required to plan lessons, conduct parent conferences, or grade assignments, allowing them to concentrate on inspiring their students. We also offer professional development opportunities to support career growth.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish or Language education.
• Patience and empathy, understanding that every student learns differently and commitment to supporting them.
• A genuine passion for teaching and sharing the subject with the next generation.
• Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
• Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.

Nice To Haves

• A teaching certification.
• Experience teaching Spanish.
• An advanced degree in a specific subject area of expertise.
• Previous one-to-one teaching experience.
