About The Position

Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part-Time English & Social Studies Teacher to provide personalized one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1-12. Since 1999, Brightmont Academy has been dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential through individualized learning. With 26 campuses across 10 states, we foster a nurturing, student-centered environment where meaningful learning occurs daily. Our unique teaching model allows educators to focus solely on teaching one student at a time, tailoring lessons to their specific needs and learning styles. We empower young minds by guiding them to mastery through a gradual release approach, building confidence and academic success. This role eliminates the need for lesson planning, parent conferences, and extensive grading, allowing teachers to concentrate on inspiring their students. Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics, or a related field.
Patience and empathy, understanding that every student learns differently and commitment to supporting them.
A genuine passion for teaching and sharing your subject with the next generation.
Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.
