About The Position
Kaya by Chemin Sdn Bhd is seeking fluent Spanish-English bilingual speakers for a short-term remote project to help train multilingual AI language systems. In this role, you will record natural bilingual conversations based on client-provided scripts and accurately transcribe your recordings. These conversations reflect how people naturally switch between Spanish and English in everyday situations, which helps AI better understand real-world multilingual speech across different Spanish variants. This project is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working with audio, are detail-oriented, and can commit a few hours a day.
Requirements
- Native speaker of one of the regional Spanish varieties listed (Mexican, Puerto Rican, U.S. Bilingual, Dominican, Central American)
- Fluent in both Spanish and English
- English proficiency of at least B2 level to communicate effectively throughout the project and understand project guidelines
- Comfortable speaking and understanding natural Spanish-English code-switching
- Strong listening, reading, and writing skills in both Spanish and English
- Detail-oriented and patient, able to maintain at least 95% accuracy
- Willing to ask questions when unsure
- Quiet environment suitable for recording audio
- Laptop or desktop with a stable internet connection
- Ability to manage your own time and meet deadlines
- Complete a pre-assessment as part of the screening process

- Previous experience in transcription, audio annotation, data labelling, or AI-related projects
Responsibilities
- Record natural bilingual conversations by following client-provided scripts
- Transcribe your own recordings accurately
- Segment audio into natural speech units
- Identify and label speakers when multiple voices are present
- Apply transcription guidelines, punctuation, and annotation tags correctly
- Follow project guidelines to maintain high-quality outputs
- Communicate actively with the Project Manager for clarifications
