About The Position

Boeing is seeking a Space Vehicle Controller/Analyst (Associate) to join their team. This role is responsible for the command and control of space vehicles (SV), monitoring telemetry, and executing and verifying products loaded to the SV. The position involves ensuring the integrity of the ground system and command path, using MS-Windows or UNIX based computers for operational planning and data analysis, and coordinating with management and peers to ensure high-quality operational products. The role also requires analyzing technical data, verifying system configurations, monitoring system performance, and executing commands to change system configurations to achieve mission objectives. The position may also support future system testing and integration requirements. Selected candidates will receive specialized training and certifications.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment
  • A final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph Pre-Start is required
  • 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with coding/scripting with various languages (MATLAB, Pearl, etc.)
  • Prior experience working with space vehicles
  • Successful completion of a certification program (post start)
  • Certification requires a combination of self-study and on-the-job (OJT) training

Responsibilities

  • Command and control of space vehicles (SV)
  • Telemetry monitoring
  • Execution and verification of products loaded to the SV
  • Ensuring integrity of the ground system and command path in support of the mission
  • Using MS-Windows or UNIX based computers for the development of the operational plan and analysis of data collected in support of planning future contacts or anomaly resolution
  • Coordination with management and peers to ensure the integrity of high quality operational products, including procedures, tools, detailed event logging, and system configuration
  • Analyze technical data
  • Verify and sustain specific systems configuration in accordance with defined constraints and operational requirements
  • Monitor system performance and control system elements by executing commands to change the system configuration in order to achieve mission objectives
  • Support future system testing and integration requirements
