About The Position

Boeing is seeking a Space Vehicle Controller/Analyst (Associate) to join their team. This role is responsible for the command and control of space vehicles (SV), monitoring telemetry, and executing and verifying products loaded to the SV. The position ensures the integrity of the ground system and command path to support the mission. The Space Vehicle Controller (SVC) will utilize MS-Windows or UNIX-based computers for operational plan development and analysis of data collected for planning future contacts or anomaly resolution. The SVC will coordinate with management and peers to ensure the integrity of high-quality operational products, including procedures, tools, detailed event logging, and system configuration. This role requires analyzing technical data, verifying, and sustaining specific system configurations according to defined constraints and operational requirements. The SVC will monitor system performance and control system elements by executing commands to change system configurations to achieve mission objectives. This position may also support future system testing and integration requirements. Selected candidates will receive specialized training in ground and SV configuration management to obtain necessary certifications.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment
  • A final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph Pre-Start is required
  • 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with coding/scripting with various languages (MATLAB, Pearl, etc.)
  • Prior experience working with space vehicles
  • Willing to work rotating shifts which include working days, nights, weekends and/or holidays
  • Successful completion of a certification program (post start)
  • Certification requires a combination of self-study and on-the-job (OJT) training
